Playlists

Meta Quest Media Studio now enables you to create custom playlists of your own content that can be shared and viewed on the web or in Oculus TV. When you create a playlist and set its Privacy setting to Public, it will appear in your Creator Portfolio page on the web, as well as in your Creator Portfolio in Oculus TV in VR.

To create a playlist, follow the steps below:

• Log into Meta Quest Media Studio.
• Navigate to the My Playlists page in the left nav menu. You can also go to the Media Studio homepage and click My Playlists under Quick links.
• Click the Create New Playlist button at the top right.

• From here you can give your playlist a Title and Description, as well as further customize it by adding a cover image.Playlist cover image specification: 1920x1080 pixels in .png format
  
• A playlist can be either a Video Playlist or a Quill Playlist - please specify the Media Type. This cannot be changed once you create the playlist.
• Specify the Privacy of the playlist. This can be edited later.
• Done!

To edit a playlist, follow the steps below:

• Navigate to the My Playlists page in the left nav menu. You can also go to the Media Studio homepage and click on My Playlists under Quick links.
• Click the Edit button next to the playlist that you wish to edit.

• From here you can edit playlist details such as the Title, Description, Privacy and Cover Image.

• To add, remove, and reorder media items, navigate to the My Playlists page and click on the playlist. This will take you to the individual playlist page.

• Add media items to the playlist by clicking the Add Media button at the top right.
• Drag media items to re-order them in the playlist. Remove media items from the playlist by clicking the X button on the right.
• Click Edit Playlist in the description box on the left to edit playlist details.

Viewers can directly view and play your public playlists in your Creator Portfolio in Meta Horizon TV.

At this point in time, playlists can only be viewed and shared inside a Creator Portfolio. You can share the URL of your web Creator Portfolio page anywhere, and have the viewer Save each media item in the playlist to VR separately.
